Description:Charlotte (Ai Ai de las Alas) is from a family of beauty queens, but she has yet to win a title of her own. Her final chance is the Hiyas ng Dalampasigan Pageant, and her mother has taken steps to make sure that she wins. But her chances are dashed when the mysterious Samantha (Marian Rivera) suddenly joins the contest. The two become bitter enemies following the contest, but they are soon forced by destiny to team up. It turns out the two have a hidden connection to a mystical past, and must work together to discover the truth about their heritage.

Movie information Kung Fu Divas is a 2013 Philippine action comedy film directed by Onat Diaz and starring Ai Ai delas Alas and Marian Rivera. The lead stars also co-produced the film which opened in theaters on October 2, 2013 as part of Star Cinema's 20th Anniversary presentation Charlotte is a veteran beauty queen aspirant from a small village in the Philippines. She belongs to a family of beauty queens and her mother tries to employ all the trick she knows to make Charlotte win this year in their village's annual beauty pageant, "Hiyas ng Dalampasigan". However, a drop-dead gorgeous beauty, named Samantha, joins the contest from out of nowhere and thwarts Charlotte's chances. The two contestants engage in an ultimate battle, inside and outside the pageant premises but is stopped by a mysterious half-naked hunk named Kojic Acid, who saves them from a band of assassins. He tells them that they share a common heritage and that they both need to work together to save not just themselves but the entire tribe of Chin Chan Soo, their forgotten home-tribe. The two beauty hopefuls struggle to train and work together to face and fight their common enemy, a mad ruler named Pei-pak-wah.
